Registering Device Models

Device Models are used as a reference in the system to check if the audited device OS version is equal to the reference database.

The openNetaudit do not recommend software versions as this is a strategic decision made by network engineers.

On the navbar, go to admin and click on Device Models:

A device page will open, if you don't have any device registered, the list will be empty. In the future if you have multiple devices, they will be listed here.

To register a new device click on register on the first card.

A form will open, this is where you need to put the information about the reference device, like manufacturer, model, and of course, the recommended OS for this device.

When you are done, just click register and the reference device will be registered and will be shown at the device models list.
