Register a Device

Now that you completed the intro you can register the devices that you will audit.

There are two ways to register devices in openNetaudit, you can either register one by one or upload a csv file with your devices. Here you will learn how to do both ways.

Register a Single Device

First go to the Device page, you can do that by clicking on Devices located on the navbar.

Next, on the left card of the Devices page, you have the device register. First select to which site this device will belong and click on register. A page with a form will open, fill the form with the necessary information and click register.

Congratulations you have registered your first device!

Device IP

Pay atention to the IP of the devices that you are registering, because if the IP is wrong, the audit of this device won't work.

Register Multiple Devices

Go again to the Devices page, on the same card with a site selected now click on upload csv.

You can either create a .csv with the format presented on the page or download the template and edit with your devices.

After creating you .csv file, just select the file or drag it to the select file field and click upload.

Multiple Devices

The easiest and fastest way to register multiple devices is to download the the template and edit it.
